Who is the Holy Spirit?
God does not save you and then leave you to manage on willpower. He gives you Himself.
“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
What Scripture says
Jesus calls the Spirit the Comforter, sent by the Father, who teaches and reminds. Acts adds power for witness; Galatians adds character.
What this means
The Spirit is a Person, not a force. He is God with you and God in you, producing in you what you could never manufacture.
Go deeper
Notice that the fruit of the Spirit is singular. It is one life, growing, not nine separate achievements to tick off.
