How do I pray?
Prayer is not a performance and there is no special language. Jesus taught His friends to begin with one word: Father.
“After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.”
What Scripture says
Jesus gives a pattern, not a script: worship, God's will, daily needs, forgiveness, protection. Paul adds that everything is allowed in prayer, with thanksgiving.
What this means
You can pray badly and still be heard. God is not marking your grammar; He is glad you came.
